GEP's Senior Management's approach to health and safety is based on the idea of personal commitment and individual enablement.
We believe everyone has a right to return home safely every day and a duty to take care of themselves and those around them.
As senior managers we understand that to have the highest level of performance we must engage with, influence and care for all those who come into contact with us, from family through to members of the public.
The Senior Management team are committed to launching a number of new initiatives, while improving existing ones, along with cultural change through communication and training. We believe communication and training is critical to creating the conditions for Zero Accidents. It's important that everyone understands our approach to health and safety and feels empowered to play their part.
We all have a part to play in keeping our workplaces safe. One of the most effective ways GEP BES does this is by being aware of the potential risks around us and taking the necessary action to address these risks. That's why we actively encourage all our people to regularly assess their working environments and report any identified risks as they arise.
The Senior Management Team will monitor the Health and Safety Policy for effectiveness and compliance on an ongoing basis.
